Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
I am an data analyst and resource planner in the Road Planning and Resourcing team. I review and analyse data daily and creating and build efficient and effective rosters for indoor and outdoor staff at the AA.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I am currently on an AI apprenticeship at the AA and loving it so far.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Learning how to implement AI to improve and automate processes at the AA.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
It's not the best apprenticeship but it did only start in November, the structure feels much more of a, go read this case study and few other bits and then write up some examples of how this applies to your job. I prefer a more hands on learning experience with activities and how to use tools which is lacking in the programme.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
As much support as needed, time for the programme and contacts for if I'm ever stuck.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
Support is great as it has an AI tool which is very helpful as well as a coach POC and a teacher for the live sessions.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
The overall bringing AI in to the workplace is great and being on board to have a qualification and real examples of how I've used AI to better my work, my department and other area's will be great for any future roles work in or apply for.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
Yes and no, every team will generally arrange they're own outside of work things, it's a very social place in most cases. I'm slightly unfortunate to where half my team are around the UK so gatherings aren't as common - but through connections from previous roles, we still arrange gatherings to play football, badminton or go for a grill - but mostly through our own effort than work arranging,
