I've learnt data ethics, cleansing, manipulation and industry standard tools such as Tableau, R and SQL. The drawbacks were that some teams don't use new tools so you don't get to apply everything you learn from the apprenticeship to your day to day activities unless you rotate to a different team which can be set up
