Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Making sure all costs within Foundation are processed correctly. I also manage emails and meetings to make sure that all my Foundation Mangers have any details they need

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was given a lot of responsibility within my placement year. Having full control of all Foundation's Finances. However I also had a great support network that would help me if I needed anything

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

I have learnt a lot about Excel inculding the use of Pivot tables. This has lead to me saving the company over 10 hours a week of work. I have also learnt about design thinking. This is a new way to work on projects together.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

Every step of the way I had people there to help with anything I needed. My task manager helped me see the strengths I had and how to apply them to my work.
