I support the maintenance, development and upgrades to applications used by Barnsley Council for a variety of services like Social care, HR, Finance, etc
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my programme as I have the opportunity to be involved in multiple projects, I have also been exposed to a variety of systems.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

my skills have developed massively as I had no prior experience with any of these systems. It also helps to develop personal skills like resilience and problem solving

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The structure is easy to follow the course is set out in individual units that have set criteria that should be met with examples from the workplace
How much support do you receive from your employer?

The support from my employer is great. I am always able to ask for help with any issues I have.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The support is good from my trainer. We have weekly sessions where we are taught something relating to the required criteria, this helps a lot when completing the portfolio.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Overall it is useful, but I feel that some of the information provided from my trainer isn't always relevant to what I do in the workplace
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
