The Day-to-day role consists of engaging with materials and giving support to members of the team on their project. There are moments where you would be working on more than one assignment at a time.

i was given meaningful tasks that allowed to get a insight and an understanding of the role and the company.

One of the main skills i developed throughout this role is time management and working on different tasks at the same time. As well as this, it has taught me how to design with a thoughtful mind and the impact of a small change.

Throughout the internship i did receive a lot of support and guidance that allowed to me complete my task. Each member of the team were free to chat and catch up whenever I reached out.

Company Culture
What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The atmosphere throughout Buro happold department is friendly and interactive. Although there are different departments, in the office everyone mixes. There are some social event such as football every wednesday.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
Having done a course in Interior Architectural, this internship has given me an insight to designing with a thoughtful mind and the reasonability of a designer. My overall experience has been enjoyable and educational. Wish this was a module that was taught in design/Architectural degree.
