Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

using our system to arrive people when they come for their appointments as well as booking people for appointments, answering peoples questions and pre-screen for the optometrists
taking payments for appointments and contact lenses and answering the phone which entails all of the above
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I'm excited to go to work every day even through the long commute, I enjoy socializing with my coworkers and feel safe with my managers
I feel like i can help people beyond my duties and feel great satisfaction when I help a customer

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

technical skills and developed my communicational skills as dealing with different types of hard of hearing patients allows my to think of different and efficient ways to communicate further more how to describe actions to allow different patients to follow my instructions

due to my apprenticeship being newer there isn't clear resource I'm meant to uses as many resource will fall under a different apprenticeship so it can be little muddled what I'm to refer to myself and what to use
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a proper learning tools and dedicated time for me to learn and space for me to go to
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I have weekly calls with a coach and plenty off work to do to further my learning
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It allows my to better understand my tools and my duties for work as well as the policy

we have a Christmas dinner at a fine establishment host and paid for by the bosses in which every one invited and its not mandatory for any one to go
