my role as a optical assistant apprentice was revolved around helping guide customers in our store. Whether that was booking appointments for patients,Dispensing patients,pre screening patients or collections for patients.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I have enjoyed my time as an apprentice. I enjoyed the learning process in a new medical enviroment.I also thoroughly enjoyed the social aspect of my apprentiship and getting to meet new people everyday. I had a lot of people to guide me along the way such my apprentiship coach, She was very patient with me and was always there when I needed help or guidance and she also motivated me along my journey.

I have learned how to deal and communicate with customers to get a better understanding of how to deal with patients.I have also gained confidence overtime with social skills.
