Overall, how would you describe your experience at Lockton?
Overall, it has been a very positive experience and I have had opportunities I never thought I would at this stage in my career - both in terms of the people I work with and the clients I support.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
The main responsibilities of my role include liaising with clients, creating and issuing surveys, supporting risk interviews, preparing presentations and deliverables across a range of project types.
The element I enjoy most of my role is the variety - I work with clients across Lockton, bringing risk management support to clients from a range of industry sectors.

To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

From the start of my time at Lockton I have been able to contribute meaningfully and been made to feel a core part of my team. As a result of this I have developed at a much faster rate than I thought I could, and really feel that my team appreciates the effort I put in.

I feel very well supported by everyone at Lockton.
How is your work-life balance?

My actual working hours are manageable and I am never asked to work overtime.
However, it is difficult to rate this higher due to the amount of personal time which is spent on the ACII qualification. That being said, when I look at others who have finished their ACII, I believe that this score will increase in the future once I am qualified, and I accept this time commitment in the short term.

What is the organisational culture, values and general atmosphere like?

The culture is great at Lockton, I genuinely feel I could approach anyone in the company asking for help and that it would be given. In terms of hybrid / remote policies, I am allowed to work from home one day a week, I believe a more flexible approach would benefit the culture and enhance the work / life balance.
