Technical Program Management Review

In my role as a Technical Program Management Intern, the project that I got given was auditing, reorganising and updating my team's Confluence space to make it a clear and reliable source of truth. My day-to-day work involved reviewing existing documentation, meeting with Technical Account Managers and Solution Architects to gather feedback, introducing my own innovative pages, improving navigation and ensuring content was up to date and easy to find. I also collaborated closely with my mentors and stakeholders to prioritise changes and track progress.

Yes, I was trusted to take lead of the documentation revamp from the outset, including shaping the structure, implementing changes and ensuring they aligned with team needs. I managed my own schedule, coordinated with multiple stakeholders that helped me make decisions on content organisation, which gave me the opportunity to develop both my collaboration, problem-solving and project management skills.

Yes, I strengthened my skills in stakeholder communication, project management and content organisation, particularly through gathering feedback from multiple sources and translating it into actionable improvements. I also developed new skills in using Confluence more strategically, applying best practices for information architecture and leveraging AI tools to refine and expand ideas.

They provided clear guidance at key stages, while also giving me the autonomy to make decisions and take ownership of my work. Regular check-ins, feedback sessions and open communication channels ensured I felt supported while still being encouraged to work independently.
