Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I was given a fully self-contained project to take part in. I had regular guidance from my manager and navigator; the project was relevant to the team and was very interesting. My day-to-day involved data analysis using SQL, Python, and PySpark, all in Databricks. I then presented my findings at the end of the internship to senior members of staff.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
The project I was undertaking was highly relevant to the team, but it did not involve a high level of responsibility. I was not that involved with the day-to-day operations in the team.

I received lots of support and guidance, even though my team were not physically present, I still had lots of support from them remotely. I also had lots of support from the early careers team.

The atmosphere was very relaxed, it was very easy to ask questions, and everybody was very friendly.
