I'm a software development engineering intern. I spend my time coding and attending standup meetings.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was given full responsibility over my project, free to come up with ideas for improvements etc.

There was lots of support available. Each intern has a manager, a navigator/buddy (someone in your team for help), and a mentor (someone outside your team but a similar role who helps more generally with career advice)

It's a great software internship as Expedia Group uses the latest technologies and programming tools. Especially compared to other companies which have been around for a similar length of time.
