Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
As a Customer Experience (CX) Intern, your role focuses on supporting initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. Key responsibilities include:
Customer Insights: Assisting in gathering and analyzing customer feedback to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Journey Mapping: Supporting the creation and refinement of customer journey maps to visualize and improve touchpoints.
Process Improvement: Collaborating with teams to streamline customer-facing processes and enhance service delivery.
Reporting & Analysis: Helping prepare reports and dashboards that track CX metrics such as NPS, CSAT, and customer retention.
Stakeholder Engagement: Working with cross-functional teams to ensure customer-centric thinking is embedded in projects.
Project Support: Contributing to CX-related projects, including workshops, training sessions, and pilot programs.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was trusted with ownership of key processes and given the opportunity to lead and support various projects that directly impacted customer satisfaction. This responsibility allowed me to develop practical skills in stakeholder engagement, data analysis, and continuous improvement.

I’ve felt incredibly supported throughout my internship, thanks to a collaborative team, a dedicated intern panel, and the guidance of former interns who were always willing to share their insights. The mentorship program also played a key role in my development, offering valuable advice and encouragement at every stage.
