Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
- I was placed within the claims department, in P&C specialty
- My role was mainly focused on completing my Business Unit assignment, and my innovation project with the other interns.
- Sat with and spent time with my time, learning about what they do on a daily basis, and watching interactions

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes i was- the intern project and Business unit assignment made me feel very empowered and I learned a lot and was given much responsibility. However, within my business unit I wasn't given as much responsibility as I perhaps would have liked

It was very refreshing being in a corporate environment whilst being a uni student, as I learnt lots of "corporate" related skills which i often wouldnt pick up elsewhere

I received a lot of support. The early careers team organised many great talks which were very insightful, and the structure of the programme was excellent, giving me a lot of support an guidance
