Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

A high level overview of my day-to-day role involves tasks such as running and monitoring reports, keeping an up to date diary and workflow (work task management system for all jobs via a platform called Salesforce), processing of premium and claims ensuring that any queries, (whether these are from the market or the client) are dealt with in an effective and informative manor , constant communication whether this be internal with any involving teams, or external with clients, and the collection and payment of funds involving the verification of bank details so that the funds are moved to the correct accounts.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy what i do and think the programme led by Davies is excellent.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes i have learned lots of new skills from the knowledge gained through the CII qualification to IT skills and communication skills

How well organised/structured is your programme?

I think the programme is well structured however it could maybe do with some more internal help around exams such as study sessions whether this be internal or external.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

We receive support from external people that come in and deliver talks, but the exams are down to us. However if i needed help i found that by just asking anyone will help out as best as possible and they are supportive.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I received lots of support from Davies and think they have done a great job with the programme of which i found very beneficial to me in order to get my exams passed and feel confident going into them. Especially the organisation of 1-2-1's when needed.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It has given me a vast amount of knowledge on day to day activities that i may not have otherwise learned within that short space of time.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are lots of extra-curricular activities which i find makes the job even more enjoyable and helps get you out of the office from time to time which is very nice!

I would recommend Lockton to anyone looking to join a fast growing company who wants to excel quickly in their career. It is a fantastic company with a great working culture that i think is beneficial for anyone when you're spending more time at work than you are at home!
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Lockton?
Research the company, tailor your CV so that it stands out to somebody viewing it whether this be a hobby or something impressive achieved, understand the role and the requirements and be yourself!
