My role covers a wide range of things. Overall my role focuses on working on delivering a high speed, high quality service to our clients as well as dealing with claims, premiums, payments as well as dealing with any queries along the way.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The programme it's self is brilliant- the start is filled with lots of insightful training, meet-ups and constant support throughout. Where you develop further into your role and start to find your feet that support from the early careers team is never far out of reach with constant reminders that they are always there to lend a helping hand to ensure always felt supported.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

My confidence when speaking and interacting with people has developed massively since joining the company on the apprenticeship team, along side this knowing and managing my time and skill set to delegate to different tasks I am faced with has grown and developed along the way.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

The structure of the apprenticeship scheme in my opinion is perfect! The start of the scheme is always full of training sessions both with the internal business as well as with courses from external like Empower Development ect.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Regular catch-ups have always stuck throughout my time here so far, ensuring that I am sat next to a more senior person on the team that I know and feel comfortable asking for help has also helped me a great deal.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

When working towards my qualifications of CII I always had help from my external apprenticeship coach, handing me useful tools in order to help as well as meetings with the early careers team to push me to get to that next stage and pairing me up with former apprentices who gave me some tips on how to pass these exams.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Qualifications through training has been really helpful when developing in my role. Not only learning about what I do specifically but also learning about the wider business as well as how other peoples roles fit in with mine.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

My role is very social and there is always good opportunities to network at external events as well as internal.

Go for it! Be yourself and get stuck in- there is so much opportunity within just this company in its self- you can go so far and meet so many new and exciting people.
