Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role consists of supporting the account executives and partners in my team through admin and budget work, as well as networking and engaging with clients and the insurance market where appropriate.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I'm grateful that I was able to easily divide and separate the apprenticeship commitments from the admin workload, my team were really supportive with the time I needed to take away from my desk to study but also making sure to offer any extra training or revision sessions.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed my Microsoft skills alongside learning new platforms, such as BI Launchpad, Housekeeping, Sanction checking, PPL and our benchmarking system.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

At the very beginning I struggled to find a balance between my apprenticeship and workload, including getting to grips with what and how to log my Off-the-Job learning, but soon after talking to my line manager and coach I was able to establish a routine that worked really well around myself and the team.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

The early careers team have been amazing with the support they offer, they are really encouraging and check in constantly to make sure you are on track. My line manager and team have been really understanding with any commitments I have and offered unwavering support.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

After I was assigned a new coach, I felt my pathway through the apprenticeship became clearer. Martin was able to offer countless revision meetings and resources to help me pass, and his revision plan made sure that I could focus on my work and my apprenticeship.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Working on the admin side and establishing the inbox internally, it worked seamlessly with my qualification - I was able to divide my workload, study and revise, attend training sessions and events, so that once the apprenticeship concluded I'm able to slowly and smoothly transition into a broking role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

I'm grateful to be in a team which is keen to get me involved in as much as possible (for example, attending Puppy Yoga with the market, Croissant Making with AWAC, regular team/market socials).
