Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I answer customer calls, amend direct debits, assist customers with general queries, take payments, amend credit files and assist customers in financial difficulties.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the apprenticeship programme quite a lot. It is a fun way to learn, gain experience and also earn money.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt valuable communication skills which I will be able to use in different scenarios. I have learnt how to use different systems such as workflow and AS400.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is very well organised. The early talent time put a lot of time into introducing the cohort to the corporate life.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a lot of support from my employer. My manager devotes time to make sure I am on track and I have no issues. I was also assigned a mentor who I can go to when I need advice. I was also assigned a buddy who had previously been in my shoes.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive a good amount of support from Kaplan as I have calls with my talent coach quite frequently where she makes sure I am up to date and discusses different learning objectives with me.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I learn about valuable skills when completing work given to me by my training provider. This ranges from basic communication skills to specific skills such as excel.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, at my workplace we often have volunteering days. Also, as a cohort we often meet at lunch/outside of work to connect.
