Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I had the experience of having a rotation where I was able to have 8 months in different departments.
I got to work in Collections, Operations, Customer Service, Customer Accounting, Finance - Bank and Cash and Reporting. I got to experience the whole business and see everything from different perspectives and gain broader knowledge of the business.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The journey I went on was amazing and has shaped me into the person I am today both, professionally and personally.

Very structured

How much support do you receive from your employer?

It overwhelmed me with the amount of support and kindness I have received from my employer.
I was never seen as an 'apprentice' but as a valued member of the business
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My tutor was amazing and supported me when I needed extra help.
The provider was heavily involved and in communication with my line managers as well as apprentice manager.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The task at the end of my qualification was to improve a process and prove that it works. The support I had in the business from this was amazing. The company have now used my process improvement to this day.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We had an early careers network which was amazing we had our own support and network.

This is an amazing place to start your career as you are invested in seen as early talent and you feel secure and you feel you belong.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Siemens?
If you are an early career I'd recommend you come here on an early careers programme as the skill set I had when I joined has tripled and I wouldn't have been able to have to chance.
