My current role is in HR and Compliance, on a day to day basis I work on the pre employment onboarding process for our new starters. Risk assessments are conducted for each new starters, Security awareness training and updating registers, dealing with HR requests.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy learning from other learners on the programme, listening to their experiences and discussing possible solutions. I also like that there is a range of resources available on the programme.

The programme is structured well, the classes are enjoyable and resources are provided to help with the off the job hours for the course.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer provides support for my course, I have monthly reviews with my manager for time to go through any issues or extra support i may need.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider has provided support for areas that i may be struggling with, for example on certain assignments that need to be reviewed and improved, the training provider has allocated time for a tutor to go through this and help improve the assignment.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The qualification is helping me develop a better foundation on GDPR principles and legislation which is beneficial for my role and to help the organisation improve their compliance.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

I have been involved in various job fairs for recruitment, this has helped me better understand the current vacancies and the sites recruitment needs. Social events, charity events or fundraising is something the company do often where everyone gets involved in and can network to build better relationships.
