Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Split role, 50% management, 50% roadside breakdown.
The management role i look after a team of 19 patrols who deal with vehicle breakdowns. Likewise when I’m on the breakdown role I deal with vehicle breakdowns
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The programme is good and I’m on a course with a lot of like minded people which makes the class enjoyable.
I struggle putting pen to paper but mentor is on hand to help.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, learnt about how people’s minds work and how we all learn differently.
Given skills to help manage my time better.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

I’m only early into the training course, but it seems fairly well structured.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

As yet, I’m only in my 1st month of the course, so can’t comment. But have been advised we will get time allocated for the course and workbook.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

So far the tutor has been very good and answers any questions quickly.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

From the course structure it looks like it will help me quite a lot. But as I’m only 1 month in, I can’t say for sure.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are some social events that have to organise for my team.
