Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I cover areas such as information security audits (ISO27001, CE+, PCI-DSS), project consultation, cyber awareness and supplier due diligence.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoyed my program and thought it was a good basis to further progress from. Varied ways to learn were used such as personal work, videos, simulations and tutor sessions.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, lots of new skills and exposure to various information security areas.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

It was well organised. The Bud platform made progress clear.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My manager was really supportive throughout the course which I really appreciated. I always felt like we were on the same page as to expectations and kept a good line of communication throughout.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

There was always check-ins with the apprenticeship provider and I always felt in good hands.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel like it has provided a really good foundation of knowledge to improve upon, and has provided me with knowledge to do my job well.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We are encouraged to go to cyber networking events. We also have some team social activities but there is no funding for these.
