I am a contract analyst, providing high level reporting for finance and operational stakeholders.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

It was OK. I was expecting to be taught more than I was. I feel apprenticeships are more about validating your known skill set, rather than teaching you anything new.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

I understand we were the first group through, and that they switched portals after our group started. It got better for the following cohorts, but we felt it was a difficult portal to work with.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I was lucky as my employer was happy to give me the time and projects I needed to complete the course.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I believe our coach was fairly new, but she was able to give me several 121 sessions to help me understand the bits I was struggling with.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I am more aware of policies, government and internal ones and I am able to work in a more systematic manner because of the course.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Off the back of this, the cohort regularly get together and go to Tableau events.

I have progressed very much whilst I have worked here, so I can safely say there is room for progression within GXO.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to GXO Logistics?
We like to promote from within, so once you are in, you do have to ability to progress.
