Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Shift starts with the daily brief, safety updates/reminders and previous day summary. Next I deploy workers to the jobs. Set their goals while prioritising safety. Make sure everything is in SLA and the business needs are met. Make sure everyone is properly trained and seeks help when unsure. Communicate with other departments and the client to prevent or fix the occurring issues. Report the achievements. Support team engagement and company values.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
Face to face sessions with the tutor and the colleagues from the different departments were enriching and engaging experience. I did not enjoy the self-study part that much due to my learning type nature.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I learned to look on the operations from the bigger picture. The course helped me to realise more about people`s differences in communication and learning and how to amend your managing style to it. It gave me the opportunity to try to manage a small project emphasising the cooperation, communication and conflict resolution. I also improved in powerpoint presentation.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
All well organised. Structure has been refined slightly changed for the next cohort.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
Both the employer and the provider are really pushing you through it. It is about your abilities and hard work and you can do it. Just make sure you do not fall behind, so the work does not accumulate.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
Both the employer and the provider are really pushing you through it. It is about your abilities and hard work and you can do it. Just make sure you do not fall behind, so the work does not accumulate. You will get an extra support in case you need it. Do not be afraid to ask for it.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
I learn better from practical use with the immediate feedback, not from the theory. I am not good in learnig stuff by myself.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
We have a gym. There is a friendly football match every year and you can volunteer and support the community with various activities (gardening, general cleaning, marshalling at outdoor events and so on).
