Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I ensure that I followed my safety training in all the tasks that has been assigned to me. Do the pre-use checks of all the equipment before to use and report it for any damage. Wear the appropriate PPE, and follow clean as go policy at all times.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy the functional skills and our day going to the college, as I feel that I'm back to school and refresh my memories studying most especially in Math. I also enjoyed the event that we had in apprenticeship such as Development Day, etc.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, I've learned a new skills as I have been trained in different department every 3 months. And I developed my communication skills and build a relationship as meeting a new people in each department.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

They are well organised. They have prepared programme to cover our 15months period in the apprenticeship. They are more experience for this nature of job.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

We get a full support and help from my Manager and team leader when we need it. They are help me a lot throughout with my apprenticeship. We feels like we are family as we've supporting and helping each other. But the most good thing that my employer provided everything.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I get a full support from our Training provider. They make sure that we understand everything working towards my components. We have interim review, health and well being support, and making sure that get will distinction on our EPA.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel very happy and confident doing my job without any hesitation, as I have a full and proper safety training and procedure, better understanding of the SSOW, safety policies and the company procedure.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, we get a lot of extra-curricular activities that we get involved at work such as Development day, morning stretching, volunteering, games like Olympics, etc.

Yes
Why?
Because is a safe place to work. People are friendly, helpful and supportive. GXO are always look after their employees they making sure everyone receives fair treatment, diversity and equality. They are more focus on every ones safety in the warehouse. Highly recommended.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to GXO Logistics?
If you applying to GXO, the only advice that I give is just be yourself and follow the company policies, and good luck.
