Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My day to day tasks include all jobs in the operations such as picking, packing, stock control tasks and inbound. At the end of the program I also get to choose my shadowing department and this includes specific procedures which relates to the specific area of work.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I have enjoyed the programme thoroughly as this have given me different points of view on all the operations, expanded my knowledge and helped me improve my personal skills such as communication and confidence helping me become self sufficient while performing tasks which involve self decision making.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

My communication skills have improved during the programme due to the intensive interaction with the management team and also the College. I have also gained specific skills for each department which I have navigates across the programme. With my shadowing I have also improved my people skills having to deal on a daily basis with colleagues by issuing uniform and resolving and queries which might arise.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme is well defined and well explained to us by the College and the internal managers of the program. I always had the support needed to navigate through the programme. The internal management is very knowledgeable and provides us with the required material and support needed.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

The support was indefinite throughout the programme, both material wise and personal support.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The college is providing with the classes needed at set times. We have contact with the tutor in person on a monthly basis or more often if needed through the website provided where the work is loaded. Explanatory comments are added and guidance on any work submitted.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The overall experience will help me towards a better self management of time and work targets, it helped me to understand where is the focus in a large business and how my contribution works towards the success of the company. The self confidence and communication skills will contribute towards a better perspective on the tasks performed.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
