Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role varies day to day. I can carry out anything from Business as Usual such and Banking and BACS to working on efficiency projects

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my programme very much. I enjoy being exposed to other areas that I would not normally see. Plus the support from my employer and training provider.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, I feel that I am learning something new every day. This can be my communication skills as well as IT Skills and general knowledge of my work. Especially when I am working for a Local Authority.

I get plenty of support from my Employer. I could not ask for anyone better, my Team leader in particular who is always encouraging me to strive

I get plenty of support from my training provider and I greatly appreciate everything.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The qualification has opened many doors for me in terms of my career and has meant that I am easily deployed to other areas if support is needed.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are multiple groups and activities. There is a Young Employees Social and we meet on a monthly basis, there are also Apprenticeship Buddies available so that you can speak with people who are studying or have recently completed apprenticeships for moral support.

Why?

There are many opportunities open and great support network for progressing. The ability to gain further qualifications. Everyone that I have encountered has been great to work with.
