To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
2/5
The programme itself was simply just another business qualification with no real difference to its A-Level counterpart - I would have liked for some variety. However, the apprenticeship has been somewhat of an experience.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have now been able to work on a variety of different core university systems such as SAP and SuccessFactors within my role, with this I have also became more proficient in the Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams). I have also been able to lead on projects allowing me to understand and build knowledge on project management skills. Overall, I believe my people and professional skills have developed the most.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
2/5
The apprenticeship has not been organised or structured in a way which I would deem acceptable, the constant turnover of skills coaches provided a very difficult environment to complete work and understand the standard expected. I will note, the recruitment for this apprenticeship was great and getting into the organisation great also but when it comes to the apprenticeship aspect it was not acceptable. I also note it has been better since roughly August (2024) time and there have been clear expectations, before that I would struggle to see any objectives achieved if set.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
In my experience I have received so much support from the employer side, allowing me to complete the apprenticeship work in my own time and understand when I may be unavailable due to the apprenticeship. my employer has also allowed me to complete trainings, attend webinars whilst also supporting with university core activities such as congregations (graduations) and Student Smartcard Issuing.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
2/5
I refer back to question 4, not up until August 2024 was there any solid support networks in place.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
2/5
In my personal opinion I do not see the benefit of the qualification to this role, although it has allowed me to enter the organisation and feel embedded within the service the qualification seems to be just another business qualification. I do note many others may have a different opinion.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
From my personal experience there are many extra-curricular activities to attend. From supporting with congregation, supporting with UG open days, as well as supporting with Smart Card Issuing for Students. Other activities fall within the committee space of which I am apart of one - Military Education Committee. In my experience looking further afield and getting contacts from across the university unlocks a lot of the activities listed above.
