Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My general role is taking inbound/outbound calls, placing orders and dealing with queries from venues.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I have now finished the programme and passed however I did enjoy by time doing the course. It helped settle into the role and learn things you did not think you'd need. It was good to see that the course is open for all ages to and not the general 18-21 apprentice age

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt how to transition customer facing roles and services into the correct manner to use over the phone. I have learnt how to sell in deals and conversational selling.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The organisation from my employer was brilliant, always being asked how things were and how I felt doing the course however ACT themselves were not as good. I felt I was chasing work a lot of the time and waiting for replies. Also I rarely met with my tutor and a lot of the work I done with a colleague who was also on the same course.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer give me as much support as I needed wether this be time of the phones to complete tasks, individual support and guidance when looking for answers and never made me feel like I was asking stupid questions.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider at the start offered plenty of support and guidance when onboarding however as time went on I felt this slipped, I was chasing different tutors as would get no repsonse from mine and felt I was left alone to do the work and finish the course which resulted in my final month being rushed
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel for myself going from retail and customer facing roles it helped me transition and give me the skills I needed to settle into my role
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

My office is based in Cardiff which is away from the main offices in Burton however we do have chances to do social events with the company for awards and celebrations, we are able to attend regular teams meetings to find out what is happening in the company.

Yes
Why?
They have been brilliant for myself from my transition into a new job role, they support me and anything I may need. You feel a real sense of care from the company as an individual and not just a number.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Molson Coors?
Be confident but don't be afraid, the beverage industry is ever changing so you as well as everyone else will be learning everyday. There is countless opportunities for you to think of future roles and will be supported in every way.
