Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
I am currently a Customer Relations Executive which is essentially a complaint handler. I deal with customer complaints and queries and work to give them the best possible outcome. I have 1 study day per week to focus solely on my apprenticeship work, then work 4 days a week.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I thoroughly enjoy my programme due to the diversity within my working week. Where I have 1 study day per week to focus on my studies, I then work 4 days (2 days in the office). There are always amazing activities/ opportunities to partake in which I have been able to join in to.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Yes - I have learnt a lot of networking skills, communication, team- work, problem- solving, and professional language.
I have hugely grown in confidence whilst working at Siemens Financial Services due to the kind and inclusive culture, so I have been able to leave my comfort zone much more.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
It is very well structured, and organised. Where they are different levels of leadership, the senior colleagues always interact and communicate with us as apprentices which I found really great. This has given me opportunities to speak to people very high up in the company which has heavily inspired me.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I receive a lot of support. Though I work 4 days a week, my employer is always supportive of me taking extra time to focus on my studies if necessary, and they often help me if I am in need of help with a task, project etc.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
I have an online call with my training provider every 2 weeks in which we will discuss my work, set new work etc. But she is always open to helping me between these catch- ups if I needed.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
I have learn a lot of new things within my apprenticeship which have influenced my performance at work. I have learnt about a lot of new laws, legislations, policies and more which I ensure to apply and abide by when working, especially when I am customer facing!
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
There are hundreds of activities to get involved with at Siemens! These are a great way to network with new people around the business and grow your confidence. For example, I have been a Siemens Ambassador, joined 'Wednesday Wellness Walks' around our local town, celebrations for national days in the year, charitable events and much more! This is definitely one thing that I truly love about Siemens.
