Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Day to day I book in all of our RFQs and create all the files for our team estimator. I prioritize these for him and sometimes do the quoting. I liaise with customers and support the building with any needs they may have.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Being on this programme has given me the opportunity to visit other group companies which therefore improves my relationships with our external and internal stakeholders. It also helps to deepen my understanding of the organisation as a whole.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have got a deeper understanding of Microsoft Office and learnt how to use SAP. I have improved my Maths and English with using it on a daily basis. My communication skills have also developed.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme is good as it is flexible enough to suit me and helps me to create a personal development plan and encourages me to think about my future career path.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive all the help that I need, from both my team, HR department and college. They assist me in my learning to make sure I am producing the best work possible.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My tutor regularly asks if we need support as well as checking where we will be up to for the next lesson to make sure she is catering for our needs. Her support enables me to complete tasks and have confidence in my ability to succeed.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My qualification supports me in my role as it helps me to put in to practice everything I have learnt about e.g. stakeholder management and business fundamentals.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We have a yearly Christmas do and depending on how successful our week has been we will meet up at the pub after work on a Friday to celebrate.
