Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Attending and participating in enrichment sessions provided for us to be able to complete our coursework. As well as this learn skills or knowledge that can be applied into our nursery setting.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I enjoy the programme a lot, learning mostly in enrichment sessions, and most of what we learn is used by me and makes the experience better to complete work and apply in practice. Also room for discussion, opinions to be given and questions which is enjoyable. Short but efficient sessions which is effective for me to learn.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Yes I have learned new skills, such as; makaton, the ability to safeguard children and notice signs of neglect and abuse, how to communicate in a professional environment both to parents, colleagues and external agencies.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
Well organised, with activities and discussion and presentation balanced as well as time given for work to be done and clear sections to adhere to.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
We receive lots of support built relationships with our employers which helps for a better environment.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
The support is there to ask questions if stuck in anything.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
2/5
I think my level 3 definitely will help me to have informed knowledge and training however I do find sessions quite repetitive and would benefit from different knowledge given to teach the same topic if there are multiple sessions in the same topic. That way more detailed and layered knowledge is given.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
1/5
Nope
