Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Yes, gaining valuable experience helps to increase a set of skills that are useful as a social worker. These are discussed within our learning environment too.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
There were a few teething problems at the beginning but these were quickly ironed out by the staff involved.

Great amount of support is offered, through different supervisions, reviews and also reflective spaces.

We complete a day a week which is valuable learning time, which we can then apply to our practice.

I do think this helps incredibly, especially spending time with the other learners, sharing experiences within our different practices. This increases the knowledge and skills we learn.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
2/5
Not many, however there may be opportunities I am unaware of. There are many extra-curricular activities within the university side.
