To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

It is okay, I find my coach not as helpful as she could be. This is my 4th apprenticeship so I guess I am comparing to the others

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I worked in store before so the whole office based job was completely different. I have learn communication skills and IT skills
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

The structure is like any other but the organisation doesn't seem to work as well. I wanted to complete in 12 months but due to my coach it is being delayed
How much support do you receive from your employer?

SO much, they ask me all the time what I need and if they can help, they allow me to have set time everyday to complete tasks and revision
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Rather than mark my work in the gap between calls we mark them on the call. Wasting time if I have to re do or add and making the calls 3 hours long. It is very tiring
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It has given me a structured way of learning the business and I do feel I can now transfer my skills to other departments

Why?
It really is one big family, everyone is so lovely and supportive and will answer any questions you have. There are SO many avenues to take
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Specsavers?
Don't be disheartened if you don't tick all the boxes in your first interview as you will tick all the boxes in another role. There is always something. and something for everyone
