Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
My role includes designing and delivering workshops for students on workplace and technical skills. I also write comms stories about employee volunteering and good news stories.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was given a lot of autonomy to manage my time and my projects and I was given repsonsibility to lead on projects and delegate in my managers place when at meetings with clients when she was unable to attend

Support and Guidance
How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
I had daily meetings with my line manager and also had the opportunity to access a mentor. I had a foundation manager who was there purely to provide support outside of my day role and IBM is generally a really supportive company and everyone I spoke to and worked with were supportive.
