Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I manage the Workbox Twitter and Skills and Business Growth SharePoint, create promo graphics for any events/vacancies/trainings to upload Workbox site.
I work closely with a variety of teams such as: Comms; PR; Wolves at Work; IPS; Supported Employment; Digital Experience; Connexions and Careers and Enterprise Company.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I would recommend for anyone who is looking to go onto an apprenticeship in the Council.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed core skills such as: organisation of workload; accurate checking of work; looking out for trends; photo/video editing; content creation > recognising trends in the metrics/data; filming and taking photos; use of various software systems (Adobe Express and Canva).

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

It has been organised, other than a few changes like moves to other teams due to budget cuts.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
I feel very supported by my employer as I have regular apprenticeship meetings with the councils own apprenticeship team to check how i am getting on.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
I can’t really comment as of yet. By month 4 of my apprenticeship, my old training provider was no longer offering apprenticeships, and I have since move across to another. I am awaiting to have my meeting with my tutor.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, there are local events in the city and ones the council offer to their employees.
