Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
I am a junior management consulting and within my apprenticeship I am a project management organiser - I am responsible for the internal and external resourcing within the Home office account. This involves meeting regularly with project leads, discussing open demands and future demands as well as moving along recoursing processes.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I really enjoy my program. Apart from learning and working as well as getting a great salary from this, I have met amazing like minded people and really enjoy picking up new skills on the job, speaking to new people and progressing academically. I feel this apprenticeship has shaped me to become a better consultant for the company.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have learnt many new skills including soft skills such as effective communication and questioning, working as a team and leadership skills. I have also honed in on technical skills, picking up business analyst skills as well as project management skills. From an education apprenticeship perspective I have learned how to prioritise tasks and balance the duties of my apprenticeship to on the job work whilst maintaining the quality of both

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
My programme is extremely well organised. We get to pick which day our education day will be ( mine is Friday ) and then work on the job all other days. On the project side, the team does not expect you to be perfect so you will have plenty of opportunities to learn and grow. And on the education side, everything that needs to be submitted is formatted into manageable chunks so that you can visually hit each milestone.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I receive a lot of support and feel supported in every aspect of my apprenticeship. My project support me really well as they train me up and hone in on skills that I could improve on and on the education side my foundation manager is always readily available to help and support me if anything comes up.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
I receive a lot of support as my training provider is IBM, and that is also the company I work for. Support is always readily available and all I really need to do is ask/express myself .
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
My qualification really supports me in my role as there is online training to be completed which matches up with the roles I am doing for example a project management course whilst I was in my PM role so doing the training gave me the theory and understanding so that I could apply it in real life on my project
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
There are many societies at IBM for example cultural societies, networking events and even taking part in great British bake off which was fun. There are always events happening and I always try to join when I have any free time
