Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Managing third-party relationships for a large UK finance company, ensuring the supply chain is robust and operating effectively, as per agreed contracts.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
Hard to measure enjoyment, i would say it was very challenging, but also very rewarding. I'm glad i did it, as not only has it helped my career, but also extended my business knowledge and network.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Yes, the skills i learnt during my 3 years with Henley open my eyes to wider business thinking, and also helped me to gain promotion to my current role.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
Very well organised and structured. I had never undertaken higher education before, so i had no expectations going into the apprenticeship. However, i felt that the structure provided the right level of support to help me succeed.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
Enough support to enable me to successfully complete the programme without becoming overwhelmed. Time away from day-to-day work was provided, as well as time to attend lectures and apprenticeship events.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
As much support as i needed. This apprenticeship was designed to ensure the participants take ownership of their own learning and development. If and when i needed more support my tutor was always available, and so were lecturers.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
I have developed significantly since beginning my apprenticeship, and this development was key for me gaining promotion to my current role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
There are many networks available within the company i work for. There are also lots of extra-curricular events that take place at offices / hubs
