Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
Designing, planning and building dashboards. Creating data models/schemas. Eventually the team / role turned into an AI (Conversational Analytics) role where we created AI models built into dashboards that can communicate with the user.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
It's great! The learning being mostly online courses wasn't the best but was still very useful. The role itself and the opportunities it has given me have been fantastic.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Almost everything I now do day to day are skills I have picked up from either the apprenticeship training or from the work / people around me.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
Some of the communication wasn't the best and things took a little longer than they should have but it was overall pretty good.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
The employer has been fantastic and given plenty of time to work on the apprenticeship learning and skills, along with being very supporting of my development.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
The support has been really great, some parts have been slightly hard to understand or taken a little longer than I would hope to come through but overall very helpful.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
The qualification has been really helpful, some of the things I have learnt through it have been instrumental in my day to day. However, there are also parts that seem to be a little outdated and no longer useful for my work but that is expected for a wide ranging course.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Yes! I was part of creating the first year of "ASPIRE" which was a community group for the Next Generation Talent across all of our locations. We ran many events and collaborated with many other groups. Thousands of people were involved and it was really good fun, as well as being useful for networking opportunities.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Lloyds Banking Group to a friend?
Yes
Why?
The culture in the company is great and the support for next generation talent is brilliant with very good career opportunities. I was also able to get involved in lots of extra activities and network with some incredible people.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Lloyds Banking Group?
Its a great company, show your desire to learn and grow because that's what they want to see, more than any technical skills!
