To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

There is so much to learn which can seem a bit overwhelming but there is so much support available from my apprenticeship coach and even in store. I find it really interesting and wish to learn more after I have completed my apprenticeship.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have grown more skills and confidence in providing outstanding customer service. And I'm always learning new ways to meet customer needs and expectations. I am still learning skills everyday about eye health and how to detect and monitor certain eye conditions/diseases.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very organised and structured have regular calls with my apprenticeship coach to set me my learning tasks, always there to answer any questions. She will also come into to store to see how I'm getting on by observing me and give me feedback on what I did really well and set learning for what I can improve on.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Every time I have questions my employer is always really helpful and eager when answering them couldn't be more grateful for the support I receive.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My apprenticeship coach always provides me with the necessary support I require, always available to answering questions I have.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My training provider takes the time to observe what I'm doing well and will give me honest feedback on what I could improve on and why, which enables me to perform better in my job role.
