Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Day to day my role consists of looking after the project I work on making sure I answer everybody's questions, putting together slide decks for presentations, sending out information to new starters. But it changes constantly based on whether I'm in the IBM office for the day or at client site.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy the programme I have l learnt so much from being able to do the work alongside learning about it that I wouldn't have in a typical university environment. I have also created friendships with all the people on my programme and in my team, people that I would not have met if I didn't do an apprenticeship
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I am constantly learning new skills and developing on previously existing ones, the main skills that have really grown since starting my apprenticeship has been my confidence and ability to talk to new people. I have also learnt a lot about technology and different ways of using it to benefit me in everyday life
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

There is a clear structure and timeline of the programme, it is outlined at the beginning when different pieces of work are expected in and that timeline is stuck to constantly throughout the apprenticeship
How much support do you receive from your employer?

IBM is incredibly supportive any issues whether at work or in personal life they have many different routes to go down so that you can receive help and support
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider is very supportive any issues they are always there to help me solve and if I am struggling with pieces of apprenticeship work I can reach out and have a call with my apprenticeship manager to help me better understand what it is I need to be doing
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel my qualification is constantly benefiting me to perform better in my role as I am learning what I am doing and understanding the reasons behind why I am doing it
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are so many socials to get involved in, whether this is everybody doing the same apprenticeship as you, people in your practice, socials with the different communities there are or team socials. As well as there being events to help you develop as a professional whilst socialising such as lunch and learns
