My role includes a lot of different responsibilities.
For example:
Meeting and greeting customers
Consenting and confirming confidential details whilst maintaining GDPR
Pre screening
Handovers
Dispensing
taking payments
diary management
visual concerns, adjustments, repairing and replacing
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy the programme, it's very structured and I have so much support from my team around me.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have furthered my current skills and developed a lot of new ones during the first 3 months of my apprenticeship.
My confidence has grown and i have become a very outgoing person.

Very organised and structured, loads of support around me and always having catch up's to check in on my well being and progression.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Loads of support, everyone in my team, whether its colleagues, supervisors or coaches, everyone is always so supportive of my learning.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

This helps me a lot. Everything I learn during my coursework relates to everything on the shop floor therefore I can understand my role better.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, we are currently holding a charity stall soon at our store. We also take part in Tuesday training which will sometimes be team building. for example, last week we made pancakes as a team.

Be yourself, be confident and go for it! - It's a very happy and positive place to work.
Enjoy the process and hard work along the way, it's a very rewarding role when you can see everything come together as you learn.
