Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Attending to patients and completing hearing tests, setting up their new hearing aids and general repairs, and wax removal using microsuction.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the learning side and the fact it's hands on so I can learn the practical straight after learning the theory.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes i have learned how to use the software, learned a lot about the anatomy and science behind our ears and the hearing aids themselves. I have developed my communication skills and time management.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The organisation isn't the best. It seemed a bit all over the place and not very structured, sometimes the order of what we learned and the corresponding assignments wouldn't align. I was able to work through it but I do think it could be improved.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

10/10 for support. They have always given and helped me with what I need.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

They helped me where I needed it. The material was always there to help support as well.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It helped me with communication to patients and how to help with problem solving. It's given me a wide range of knowledge to help answer questions.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There is some networking events such as conferences. We have a lot of social events in our team and team building events etc.
