In my role at Specsavers, I perform eye scans on diagnostic equipment, assist with frame collections, and handle repairs and adjustments. I also manage the call list, ensuring customer needs are met promptly. My daily tasks involve a combination of customer service, technical duties, and ensuring a smooth workflow.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I thoroughly enjoy my apprenticeship at Specsavers. The hands-on experience has been rewarding, and I appreciate the opportunity to learn new skills while interacting with customers. The variety of tasks keeps each day interesting, and I feel supported by my team, which makes the learning process enjoyable.

Yes, I've developed my technical skills in eye scanning and pre-testing, becoming more proficient with the equipment. I've also enhanced my customer service abilities, improving communication and problem-solving when assisting with frame collections, repairs, and adjustments. Additionally, I've strengthened my time management and multitasking skills.

The online work help sessions on Mondays provide valuable support, while the myopia management presentation and escape room during the store refitting were both fun and educational. The Christmas Burns Night dinner also offered a great opportunity to bond with colleagues.
