Pre test, Collections, arrival, dispense and more. Helping customers selecting frames and giving a personalised service, making sure customer service is on point

10/10 i love how structured it is and how much information is involved. I love learning new things everyday

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very structured. Making sure its a balance of shop-floor learning time but also off the shop floor learning . then having regular check up calls to see how things are going
How much support do you receive from your employer?

So much support from everyone all round, always can go to him for advice and support for the job especially when having difficulties coping sometimes as this job can be a handful
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Again so much support, i get reminded when i forget to upload a journal, i get help when i forget something even if it is so simple. If theres a question within a matter of minutes that will be answered for me
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I learn so much more than what i wouldve thought so it helps bring my confidence out a bit more as if there is a situation that nobody can deal with and i know then i can help straight away
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Im not sure if online classrooms would class as one? No social or sorting events that Im aware of though

Just a great place to work and always make sure we have good service too
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Specsavers?
It can be quite full on at times and sometimes even a bit stressful but make sure you take your advised learning time so you havent got a backlog of things to do and just keep having determination
