Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My day to day job role would include a mixture of different things. These could consist of arriving customers at reception, pre-testing the customer, taking handovers from opticians, advising on frames and doing dispenses and finally collecting the customers glasses.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoyed my programme as it gave me a mixture of different scenarios.

My confidence has improved a lot since starting the apprenticeship which has allowed me to be open to more tasks.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Well organised with regular check in phone calls and store visits which allow you to be fully prepared for the end point assessment. There is also additional help available for extra planning.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Employer is in the loop with what's going on and you're often assigned someone to go to for additional help or support.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Lots of support was given from training coaches as they did regular check ins with me and store to view progress, they also planned regular store visit or calls with staff buddy.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It has given me a deeper depth of knowledge which allows you to understand more about dispensing and frame advising as well as much more.
