Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Dispensing glasses including advising on suitable frames, measuring pupil centres and advising on lens options. Taking payments for sight tests and glasses. Fitting spectacles for customers who are collecting their glasses. Carrying out preliminary tests for patients arriving for their sight test including using OCT scan technology and other machinery.

I learned many skills including dispensing and fitting glasses, managing clinics and improved on my time management, concern handling and problem solving, how to handle customers with additional needs and much more.
