Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
Senior Data Risk Manager, responsible for evaluating and mitigating data-related risks across the organisation, and ensuring both internal and external regulatory compliance.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I am thoroughly enjoying the programme. It is difficult but I always knew it would be. The bit I enjoy the most is the network I have created with the rest of my cohort. The people are inspiring and help get you through the learning with a sense of comradery.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Have both learnt new skills and developed existing capabilities. The apprenticeship is broad in terms of the learning, which I purposely picked to gain skills required to be a senior leader and think more strategically.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
The programme is well organised and structured, however the learning is intense with a lot of admin required to evidence requirements of the apprenticeship. This can be confusing at times as to what is required.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
My employer is incredibly supportive.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
The support from Henley Business School is extensive, with regular check-ins and tutor contact. Feedback from assignments and work submissions is generally very comprehensive and helpful.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
I believe it has helped me switch my mindset to more strategic thinking. It has increased my network significantly as I am required to research different areas of the business to evidence my learning. It is also seen as a great achievement and therefore reflects a commitment to development on a much higher level.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
2/5
Not that I've seen specifically related to my apprenticeship but I believe apprenticeship social events do exist across the organisation. Rated 5/10 due to not fully knowing what is available.
