Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
Assists with managing corporate client relationships, assisting with the oversight of portfolios, providing financial solutions, and ensures client satisfaction. Day to day, this involves completing daily tasks such as payment plausabilities, dealing with client queries, being up to date with client requirements etc. (within 50 words)
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
I have had some ups and downs throughout the experience, mostly due to stress with mixing a degree and a 9/5 professional job in which both have to be done to the best of my ability, whilst also balancing a personal life. Being a 19 year old young man, I have struggled but always gotten through.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have learned many new skills regarding the specific systems and processes within my role as well as gaining greater insight into the financial and banking services industry within my specific rotation. I have developed the skill of interpersonal relationship building and time management within the role.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
I think some things could be better, regarding placements and rotations having a structure however I think for the most part, I cannot fault the programme, I have learned so much and made so many close relationships with colleagues along the way.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
3/5
I receive quite a lot of support, I am always able to reach out and ask for assistance or help when needed. I am also reached out to from time to time as 'check ins' or 'catch ups'
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
We get a lot of information given to us towards the degree, however, due to my preferred style of learning, online lectures can be difficult and I often struggle learning through this way. However, if I need to contact my lecturer/training provider directly, I am able to.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
It depends on the module you are currently undertaking, as some modules aren't related to a specific role, however you gain a greater understanding of the financial services sector as a whole which in turn aids you in role competency.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
I am involved in the 'sports and social' club, in which they set up events, sporting and recreational in which many of my colleagues, myself included, go to. Additionally, I attend networking events, in the hope of meeting other young degree students.
