4/5
I have one assigned day for university a week which works well.

I receive a moderate amount of support from my employer. My manager is the liaison with the university which helps.

3/5
Support is provided where necessary.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
The degree is quite technical, whereas my role isn't necessary. The knowledge is still valuable though.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Yes, I do a lot of giveback at IBM. I am the co-founder and co-lead of a Pitching/Presenting community. I co-lead the relationship with one of the BPs, Softcat. I run a new initiative called The Wild Duck Cafe, as well as other events.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend IBM to a friend?
Yes
Why?
It looks after its early professionals well and provides necessary support. There is a wide range of roles that employees can explore throughout their time at IBM.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to IBM?
Be yourself, because IBM prefers unique candidates, as opposed to the 'perfect' candidate.
