At IBM there are many apprentices, interns and graduates that are part of the "IBM Foundation" community which organise sports, networking and learning events in addition to the structured consulting projects and academic university studies.

5/5
I have support from my foundation manager who ensures my wellbeing during my apprenticeship and my task manager who I interact with daily. As well as this all of the other foundation managers are supportive and open for communication.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Regular tripartite meetings between my employer (IBM), my university (University of West London) and myself update everyone on progress to make sure things are on track. If I feel overwhelmed with studies I have the option to request additional support from my managers.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
I have been able to directly apply some of the things I have learnt through my University studies such as project management skills including risk logs, RACI matrix. At other times there might not be directly transferrable skills but still useful to help develop my knowledge of the IT industry.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Definitely, as mentioned at IBM there are many apprentices, interns and graduates that are part of the "IBM Foundation" community which organise sports, networking and learning events. There is also the opportunity to create your own community which receives quarterly funding to arrange events.
